Elly Steinlauf presents a selection of her 35mm suburban photography.

The works provide a stunning social commentary of Melbourne's northern suburbs and surrounds.

Through these works she documents various neighbourhoods and their perceived histories capturing the environment with the thought that it will soon be transformed through gentrification or erosion.  

Though the works are created in the present time they hold a sense of nostalgia and stillness.

These colourful works will be exhibited in NOIR Darkroom's window gallery until March 3rd.
