MOMENTUM is a multi faceted exhibition of works responding to notions of life in today's age of communication. Kat uses the exhibition space to overstimulate the senses and present knowledge as a sort of noise that stunts the viewer as they attempt to decode the abundance of information present. 

MOMENTUM is both a congestion of ideas and minimalist presentation running simultaneously, suggesting a dichotomy of existence; where we (as a society) have access to limitless information but are powerless to use it in a meaningful way, finding ourselves in a static limbo of white noise and glaring screens.

This exhibition is the result of a two week artist residency at NOIR Darkroom where Kat was provided with a studio space, on site resources and an exhibition space in which she had to conceptualise a contemporary art exhibition and present it within the two week time frame.
