Miss Rona

Artwork created during COVID-19

Miss Rona is a small works exhibition of art works by 21 local and national artists that were created during the initial nation wide COVID-19 lockdowns.

Miss Rona was an attempt to return arts to a physical space after months of art solely existing online. After one mere day of exhibiting to the public Melbourne was placed under a second much stricter lockdown.

With arts in Melbourne still being a non permitted industry we made the move to relaunch the exhibition in digital form. If there ever was an exhibition to be interrupted by a virus, Miss Rona is the correct one.

Miss Rona (a digital show) is an exploration into the new normal of art practice and delivery in a post COVID-19 Melbourne society.
