Evan is a Melbourne Based photographer with a curious eye for the everyday art that we see in the streets. Originally from Canberra, Evan Moved to Melbourne and discovered a passion for older architecture, street art and photography. Evan points the lens at the strange stories told by street artists and those who occupy and change the urban landscape around us. Evan has shared with me the imagined tales behind his images, from a community of people living life in underground Melbourne unaware of us “up top,” to a graffiti artist affectionately named “Banana Man” who leaves his signature banana peel tag and disappears in a puff of yellow paint. Evan shows us that behind every graffiti tag, lost item and overgrown desire path there is a story of people sharing the urban landscape.
